Sweet Mac Attack

2 Tbs    butter
6 cups   Macintosh apples, cored, peeled
         and cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 cup  sugar
1/2 tsp  ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp  fresh-ground nutmeg (incredibly aromatic!)

Butter 6-cup casserole dish using all the butter. Mix next 4 ingredients together and spread evenly in casserole.

1/2 cup  brown sugar
1/2 cup  all-purpose flour
1/2 cup  rolled oats
1/3 cup  butter (ice-cold) cut in 1/2-inch cubes

Put all ingredients in food processor and process...
