One Really Hot Chick
1 whole chicken (air-chilled)
1/2 onion
1/2 lemon or orange
2 peeled cloves of fresh garlic
1/2 apple, peeled and sliced
Fennel
Celery
Crushed black peppercorns
Salt
Paprika
Preheat oven to 450°F. Pat chicken dry and clean out cavity. In the cavity, insert your choice of the other ingredients. Thoroughly salt, pepper and paprika outside of the bird. Place bird in a roasting dish on a trivet and put in oven for one hour. Don’t baste or touch the chicken! Roast for exactly one hour...
